Question: What is a podcast?
Answer: As described at Wikipedia, "A podcast is a series of digital media files, usually either digital audio or video, that is made available for download via web syndication." Visit the Wikipedia podcast entry for more information.
Question: What kinds of podcasts are available at The Temple?
Answer: I currently only have one podcast channel you can subscribe to which contains audio journals. I may, at some point in the future, include the video journals as part of the same podcast.
Question: What program do I use to subscribe to The Temple podcast?
Answer: There are probably hundreds of "podcast aggregators" out there but the one I prefer is Creative's ZENCast Organizer. IThe most popular aggregator, though, is iTunes. Both programs are free, easy to use, and can be used as a stand alone player or in conjunction with an MP3 player.
Question: How do I subscribe to The Temple podcast?
Answer For ZENCast Organizer: After you've installed the program click on [Subscribe] then type in the URL for my podcast.
Answer for iTunes: On the top menu click [Advanced] then [Subscribe to Podcast] and in the window that pops up type in the URL for my podcast.
Question: What is the URL for my podcast?
Answer: It's http://www.greenpygmies.com/Reflections/JournalRSS.xml
Question: How do I use my ZENCast Organizer or iTunes?
Answer: Open the program and hit the [F1] key.
