PROGRESS NOTES

February 6th, 1991

The patient was seen for 30 minutes and his mother for 5 minutes for individual therapy and medication review. He reports the last week went better. He was not very talkative and he said he was somewhat discouraged over the results of one physics test he had but otherwise both he and his mother agreed that his mood had been better and he seemed to be able to cope with ups and downs better on his own. His parents are still involved in individual counseling but have not heard from their counselor whether they need a medical letter for referral yet, although I have agreed to do so because I think that it is important for the family. At this point I agreed to let the patient go for two weeks. At that time we will meet again for an hour.
