PROGRESS NOTES

February 19, 1992

The patient was seen for 45 minutes for individual medication review and follow-up. He continues on 200 mg of Nortriptyline at bedtime with 300 mg of Lithium Carbonate. His mood seemed level but somewhat more subdued than on his previous visit. He indicated he felt things have been relatively stable but not continuing to improve. He continues to show discouragement and anger towards his family situation and wishes he did not have to live at home but feels financially trapped in doing so. He has done some activities with friends which appear appropriate and I noticed a little less cynicism towards his own peers, although he seems to maintain it in his feelings towards his family. He seemed more angry with his brother than other family members on this visit. I will see him again in two weeks. No changes were made in medications.
