This site is a 100% self funded labor of love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019ll be honest, it\u2019s pretty cheap (I\u2019m a software engineer so it\u2019s on a server in my house) but there\u2019s also the time and effort I put into it (hundreds of hours of scanning photographs and web design and maintenance) plus the Godaddy Domain hosting which comes out to several hundred every three years. I’d also like to get a WACOM tablet to help make photo editing of the 10K+ pictures easier so the scratches and dings of the past can be just that, something of the past. Plus, if it becomes popular enough I’d like to upgrade my photo hosting plugin to give you the ability to purchase (for a small fee) and download high resolution versions of the images posted here (all of which would go to continued improvements and maintenance).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So if you can contribute $5, $10, or $25 (or more) to help with costs, that will be enormously helpful in improving and keeping this site alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Finally and just as important, if you’re part of the Phay clan and have photographs that you want shared here please get in touch with me, I’d love to get them scanned and made available for everyone in the family to enjoy for decades to come!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
