So, out of the blue I found an old-new monitor on FB marketplace last night. It has much of the look of my 1973 Blackstripe Toshiba CRT TV so I absolutely had to pick it up. Smaller than the “screen” (oldish flatscreen TV) I was previously using, but the resolution on it was shit and it would give me a headache after about an hour. This one has that vintage look but it’s a modern monitor with pretty damn good resolution for a 22” screen. Hell, I would have died for something this nice twenty years ago. Has a few scrapes and bruises and definitely needs to be cleaned up and one of the legs popped off (nothing a healthy seasoning of super glue won’t fix) but it’s definitely a step up and matches the decor of my little home office away from the real home office. Not sure what else this room is missing but I’ll let you know. Here’s a pic:
