I have to admit I’ve never followed any specific photographer. Sure, I know of Ansel Adams. And yes, here and there I see some work and say to myself, “I really like that,” and maybe or maybe not there name will stick in my head (admittedly, I’ve always been bad with names so there’s that). But every now and then someone’s work speaks to me and recently it was Vivian Maier, a nanny who lived much of her life in Chicago and always seems to have a camera with her everywhere she went. What an interesting life. Want to know more?
